Description of objectThis cosy, colourful and sunny apartment is on the top (fifth) floor with 12 steps down from the lift. It’s on a corner and is well lit from both sides. It has a small entrance, a living-room with 2 sofas (one a sofa bed), a large, fully equipped kitchen, 1 bedroom with a queen-size bed and a bathroom with a shower. Each room has a small balcony and double-glazed French windows with wooden shutters. There are also two temporary beds, but only 4 guests can be hosted. The apartment is provided with a CD player, a gas stove with oven, a fridge, a microwave and a washing machine as well as:• AIR CONDITIONING (super-silent) • AUTONOMOUS HEATING • FREE WIRELESS FAST INTERNET ACCESS • SATELLITE TV (SKY cinema), follow the news in the main languages and see films in English The size of the apartment is about 60 sq.m. Minimum stay: 2 nights. Location of objectThe apartment is in Via Bixio, very close to Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, and just a 5-10 minute walk away from Termini railway station but well behind it. The Colosseum and the Roman Forum are barely 20 minutes away on foot, while the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, St. Peter’s etc. are a few stops away on the nearby underground/subway Line A (Vittorio and Manzoni stops). The apartment is in the quiet and safe Esquilino neighbourhood, where you will also find the best food market in Rome, just a block away. Useful information about the apartment, the district and various tourist attractions is provided.Some easy walks from your apartment: The apartment is one block away from Rome’s trendy San Lorenzo quarter, quite different from the Esquilino district and only 5 minutes away on foot. It’s quite lively in the evenings,with ‘pizzerias’, ‘trattorias’, pubs, fastfood shops, international cuisine etc. as a lot of university students attending Rome’s university, La Sapienza (nearby), and artists live there. The main street is Via Tiburtina, and you turn into the cobbled streets on your right. It’s a bit of old Rome. Fantastic and quick public transport 50 metres from the flat. Spanish Steps are at 10 minutes away by underground. 15 minutes are needed to reach the Coliseum walking through Emperor Nero's park. 50 metres separate the flat from the trendy S.Lorenzo student quarter where lots of restaurants and pubs animate this area. We can suggest jewelry outlets just nearby and all sort of tips and tricks to make life easier. Town: Italy, Lazio, RomaRome, the city of the Caesars and "La dolce vita" embraces its guests offering endless art, churces, museums, monuments and friendly romans. Its sights and quarters are a lavish medley of ancient, medieval, Renaissance and modern buildings, covering over 1000 years of artistic history that you can enjoy just by walking anywere in the historical centre and in the sourrounding areas. Three lives are not enough to visit everything Rome offers but, in this life at least, you can study your maps reflecting over a quiet cappucino in one of the hundreds of beautiful squares to be found in this incredible and lively city.
