Description of objectBeautiful villa located in Stintino, five minutes walk from the beach of \"La Pelosa\"
one of the most beautiful ones in Sardinia, but a lot of people now consider it one of the most attractive places in Italy -and not only in Italy- for the beauty of the sea. The villa consist of two floors, the ground floor consist of a dining room with an open style kitchen, a separate living room, a double room and two bathrooms with shower; the first floor consist of a double room with internal bathroom with tub and private terrace, two single room with bathroom and terrace,and a wardrobe room. The villa is surrounded by terraces and a well-tended garden, rich in Mediterranean plants and flowers.
Location of objectLocated to the North-West Of Sardinia, in front of the island of Asinara, formerly a penal colony and only from 1998 a nature reserve. The villa is about 5km from the village of Stintino and about 30km from the town of Porto Torres.
Town: Italy, Sardegna, StintinoStintino is a village of about 1400 inhabitants; it was founded in 1885 by the Sardinian farmers and the fishers native of Camogli when they had been evicted from the Asinara island converted into a penal colony. The village spreads over a patch of coast between two inlets where now there are two small ports for fishing boats, crafts and yachts. In summer the village gets crowed with thousands of turists that can find here modern accomodations, or simply come for a walk in a village that is still keeping the charm of the old village of sailors even if with all the services necessary to support the high turist flow.
During summer season there are also frequent events mainly for entertaining tourists and resident people. Among other events like folk shows or musical performances, probably the most important events are the regatta of lateen sail (the last week of August) and the celebration of the patron the 8th of September. Noteworthy is the museum of \'Tonnara\' at the new port.
