Description of objectAt the center of one of the most beautiful sea resorts in Sicily (the main location of Fiction \\\'Commissario Montalbano\\\'), our 3 villas are located within 50 meters from the most beautiful sea of south-eastern Sicily.Ideal for large families and designed to create an atmosphere more often linked to that of the home. Within a cuisine full of fresh colors and Mediterranean every tool for every need. Upstairs a large master bedroom where white is the dominant color, equipped with new bedding. Just next to two other bedrooms with single bed and possibility of extra bed. Outside a large garden of lawn is the backdrop to an impressive roof equipped with tables, chairs and a functional barbecue. The villas are all equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, Sky TV and air conditioning. We are also two bicycles for each villa. The weekly cost includes the consumption of water, electricity and gas. All services are nearby: supermarket, bar, tobacco shop, pizzeria, restaurant. Just 3 km in the city of Santa Croce Camerina you can find banks, post office, bus services. Location of objectPunta Secca (Punta Sicca in Sicilian) is a small fishing village, a hamlet of Santa Croce Camerina in the province of Ragusa in Sicily. Locals call it \"A SICCA\" (the dry) probably due to the presence of a small formation of rocks in front of Levante Beach, just a \"dry\".The village, together with the nearby Punta arm, already existed in ancient times and was occupied by the Byzantines, Arabs and Normans. At the time of the Arabs was called ʿ Ayn al-Qasab, but over the centuries acquired several other names including: \"Ra ʾ s Karam\", \"Ra ʾ s Karama\", \"Cape Scaramia\" and recently \"Head Scalambri\" (name still visible today in some maps and in the \"nautical\") from which the tower is named Scalambri, coastal defense tower built in the sixteenth century. It is not true, as some mistakenly claim, which on its beaches in 1943 happened to land the Anglo-American forces during Operation Husky. Indeed, this landing took place between Licata and Gela on the south coast, and between Pachino and Syracuse in the East. However, some small groups of Allied Forces landed just beyond the seaside town Scoglitti (distant as the crow flies about 4 miles from Punta Secca) and only 1 amphibious vehicle near Punta arm (about 1 mile from Punta Secca). The village owes its recent popularity to the fact that here was a set of the film sets of the series of fiction Montalbano Commissioner.
