Description of objectFinished in 2008 , Fantastic house to rent in Caherdaniel- 1km from Caherdaniel VillageIt has 3 bedrooms, 2 doubles and a twin room. It is open plan kitchen / living room. All mod cons, it has a 42 inch tv with free to Air tv. Kitchen very well equipped. DVD player. Electric shower upstairs and power shower in bathroom downstairs. This house is furnished to an extremely high quality. It has a lovely sea views. We provide towels and bedding covers. Located only a few minutes drive from the nearby village of Cahedaniel and the local facilities for horse riding, fishing and water sports. It is ideally located to use as a base for fishing holidays. Course, fly and sea fishing are all available locally. Enjoy the senic walks to the historic Derrynane National Parks and its wonderful sandy beaches.( 2 miles) It is a golfer\'s paradise located between the world famous golf courses of Waterville (10 km), Parknasilla (20 km)& Kenmare (30km) If bring pets this should be discussed with house owner first. Location of objectThe cottage is on the ring of kerry. It is 1 Km from Caherdaniel village , 13 from sneem and 14 from Waterville. The view from the main road, the N70, is one of golden beaches and small islands nestling in a turquoise sea. To the rear, the village is sheltered by undulating mountains, once mined for copper, reaching towards the sky. Just 1 mile away is Derrynane beach, house and gardens. The house was the home of Daniel O\'Connell, famed in Ireland as \'The Liberator\' (1775 - 1847), who won Catholic representation in Parliament in 1829. The house is now a museum and contains many of his personal belongings, as well as his famed Triumphant Carriage. A diving and sailing school is located at Derrynane Harbour. The area is a walkers paradise with a long walking trail, The Kerry Way, to the north of the village and many other shorter routes along seashore and old paths. There is an Equestrian Centre in the village, offering tuition from qualified instructors, with horses and ponies to suit all levels. There is a wide choice of watersports available, including, waterskiing, windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, diving, surfing and wakeboarding. In the village there are two pubs and one restaurant, serving excellent fresh fish. Close to the Kerry Way, lie the remains of a stone fort.
