Description of objectThe villa (180 m2) lies at the center of a garden of approx. 4.500 m2, completely fenced in and surrounded by hedges that guarantee total privacy, with a pine-wood on the front and a field with olive and palm trees on the rear.Armchairs and a breakfast table stand under the spacious front veranda, where the scent of the pine resin and the sun rising through the trees will give you the “Good morning”. In the rear, a roomy wooden gazebo holds a fitted wall (barbecue, cooking surface, sink) for open air lunches near the swimming pool, a small outdoor bathroom (WC, sink). There is a washing machine in a small outdoor space. There is a swimming pool (15x6) with a large solarium area, equipped with deck chairs and cots, and an outdoor shower. Modern furnishings of good quality. It is furnished with a TV, DVD/CD player, dishwasher, oven, freezer, washing machine, barbecue, screens on doors and windows, A/C in the bedrooms. Description of the interior: large living room (40 m2) with direct access to the front veranda (50 m2), kitchen/dining room with access to the garden, two double bedrooms (one with en suite bathroom), one bedroom with two single beds, 1 bathroom/shower, a storage cupboard. Location of objectThe villa stands half way between the Ionian and the Adriatic Seas (approx. 25 km), where you can find both beaches with modern services and totally isolated beaches surrounded by an intact nature and with clear blue water. You will find open air restaurants all over, where you can enjoy excellent dishes of locally caught fish accompanied by the sunny and famous wines produced in the area, such as the Negroamaro and the Primitivo.Thanks to its geographic location, Oria is an ideal starting point for excursions towards the North (Ostuni, Alberobello) and towards the South (Lecce). Other distances: Brindisi approx. 35 km (airport), Taranto 45 km, Ostuni 35 km, Lecce 60 km. Town: Italy, Apulia, OriaThe villa is situated in a peaceful corner of the Apulian countryside, approximately 2 km from the town of Oria, a typical baroque city whose origins date back to 1000 B.C., with all services: stores of all kinds, banks, many excellent restaurants, as well as a baroque piazza that is enlivened all year long by an open air bar where you can enjoy excellent ice cream (quite nearby you can visit the museum of the local traditionally made ice cream) or relax with a glass of good wine and delicious appetizers. However, in the narrow whitewashed alleys of the medieval Jewish ghetto of the old town, one breathes the real and rare peaceful atmosphere of a small village of past times.Do not miss a visit to the Sanctuary of San Cosimo alla Macchia, an important cultural center tied to the Santi Medici, which lies approximately 2 km from the villa. Goal of pilgrimages from all over the South, it counts, second only to the Sanctuary of Padre Pio in San Giovanni Rotondo, the highest number of faithful in Southern Italy. Connected to the Sanctuary are a museum with the ex-voto of the faithful, the Ethnographic Museum, the first in Southern Italy for number of collected objects, a Zoo, gardens and large squares for Sunday fairs and for feasts and festivals (where one can buy local products).
