Location of object Location Here at stayandstay with a view of the mountain called the giant woman, it is said by the locals a woman came to Cha-am many years ago and had her heart broken by a local man, so being depressed with the loss of her love she decided to eat and eat until she was so big she could not stand, she had to lie down to eat and eat until she died of a broken heart, and there she laid, so the mountain was born, and when you look at the mountain today you can still see the giant lady lying down .
Town: Thailand, Cha-am, ChaamThere is a great relaxed atmosphere in Cha-am no pressure to do anything you don't want to do if you would like to sit by the pool or sit on the white sand at the beautiful beach of Cha-am and just soak up the hot sun just do it. And if you want to jump on a jet ski which is available to hire or even have a banana ride to cool off and then dip into warm sea. If you want to hire a 1 to 4 seater peddle bike or a moped the choice is yours or just walk along the sea front shopping and picking out where and what you would like to eat next and if you don't like Thai food there is English and a wide range and dishes available.
And if you just like a small amount of sight seeing just a 20 minute drive to the town of Hua-Hin which is the next big resort along the south of Thailand there is a lot of shops and markets where you can buy a whole range of things as well as local attractions to see.

Additional InformationCha-am is a charming fishing and beach resort, frequented mainly by Thai people although there are some large hotels and resorts catering for a tourist industry which is steadily growing and taking hold. Cha Am offers white sandy beaches and private secluded beaches, great restaurants, temples to visit and markets to shop at! It is a great base for the 7 different golf courses in the area and as yet, is not spoiled or lost its charm through western tourism |
