Description of object

La casa di Luca (Luca's house) is a lovely apartment, ideal for a couple. It is located in a pedestrian area near the church of St. Luca. You reach it taking a pedestrian way from the end of a dead-end-road, after less than 100 m you descend approx. 60 steps to the entrance of the house.
A short walk away there is a bar on the square of the church, a small grocery and a butcher, a pizzeria, a restaurant, a pharmacy and with a few more steps you reach a well-stocked minimarket with everything you need for selfcatering and with a good selection of local wines.

The centre of Praiano with all kind of stores, with other restaurants and internet cafés can be reached in 15 minutes by foot.
Even the beach can be reached by foot in 15 minutes walking down along the walkways and stairways of Praiano. At the nearest beach, Marina di Praia, there are bars, restaurants and the famous nightclub/disco Africana. The return up in town you can do by foot or by the local bus, the nearest bus-stop is at only 100 m from the house. This bus connects Praiano to Positano and has a stop above all the beaches between the two villages.
For those arriving by car there is a pay-parking area with blue stripes at 100m from the house or along the road free of charge starting at 400m from the house.

La casa di Luca has a double bedroom, american kitchen and bathroom with shower.
The highlight is the large terrace with a beautiful sea view, partially covered and equipped with table and chairs for outdoor dining, sunchairs and sun-umbrella.

The house is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, a small electric oven, fridge with freezer, washing machine, iron and iron-board, fan, hair-dryer, WIFI and digital terrestrial TV. A baby cot is available upon request.

Praiano is located in the heart of the Amalfi Coast, halfway between Positano and Amalfi. In the back the mountains 'Monte Lattari', ideal for mountain hikes, at the beaches 'La Gavitella' and 'Praia' there are sun loungers and umbrellas for rent, there are bars and restaurants. Rent a boat and explore the coast by sea. Or you can hire a scooter in the village and drive along the coast and stop at all points of view to to admire the panorama. From Praiano, you can organize excursions to Capri, Pompeii, Vesuvius, Paestum, Ravello, into the Emerald Cave and many more.
