The main street is Corso Vittorio Emanuele, known by the inhabitants simply as IL CORSO. The most characteristic and most popular, however, is Via Garibaldi, from which radiate numerous alleys that make it more impressive. It connects the castle with Ugo Piazza S. Onofrio, said Marina Corta, one of the most fascinating squares of the Aeolian Islands, irregularly shaped with many bars and restaurants. Another important route is via Francesco Crispi, known as the Marina Lunga, a promenade that connects the town of Lipari with a fraction Reed. Another historic town square is Piazza Giuseppe Mazzini, called Above Civita. From here you can access to the Castle and the Cathedral.
