They include a TV with cable channels and a kitchen with dishwasher .The apartment is located in a prime area and tourist center of Funchal , the main town on the island of Madeira . The promenade in Lido area in Funchal , already known for tourist facilities it offers, has become an area more suited for leisure and is much sought after by locals as by tourists . Surrounded by palm trees and pleasant gardens , this promenade connects the Lido area and Formosa Beach , offering lovely views over the sea and Cape Girão those who wander there , walk, run ... or just relax in one of the many benches scattered along the route ! Feel like taking a dip or catch some sun ? Along this promenade choices are many more . There are three public pools - the beach resort of Lido with the largest saltwater pool , the Club Naval and recent beach resort of Ponta Gorda - we have several facilities and in which is saltwater pool , children\\\'s pool , sports activities , restaurants , snack bars , etc. ... everything you need to spend a relaxing day on the sea front ! Along the promenade of the Lido is still some restaurants that specialize in different types of cuisine - some are hidden within the bathing complex - which give you the opportunity to enjoy your meal while dazzles with the magnificent setting of the sun and views of the ocean! Among the many festivities , perhaps the best known is the display of Fireworks Fireworks New Year , the biggest in the world (yes , the world ) according to the Guinness Book of Records . The spectacular and colorful Carnival Flower Festival , full of samba and people in costumes themselves , are not. During the month of June, the Festival of the Atlantic , with an International Fireworks Fireworks that takes place every Saturday , will impress you . Christmas is a fantastic time , full of fantasy, with lights and festive decorations that light up the entire city and the night sky . The urban center becomes in Wonderland and lights flashing . Less than 100 meters is one of the major shopping centers - Forum Madeira and five minutes , the DOCK Cavacas pools and the beach beautiful. Public transport to the center of the old town just 20 meters away from the apartment - the green line to the west ( n01 or n02 ) and exit at Capstan Street and walk 20 meters. In this area of Lido up to Centromar lie the most and the best hotels in the city of Funchal . This is one of the most sought after areas for those looking for leisure time and magnificent views of the sea and Cape Girão . In this area may take a dip in the municipal swimming pools (there are 3 ) . For those who also seek the best moments of food , be sure to take advantage of the many fabulous restaurants in Lido . It provided a shuttle service to / from the airport for free ( up to 4 people ) . There are direct transport from the airport in the Aerobus , stop 17 .
