Very nice and tastefully furnished house located in the Yachclub Area situated in an optimal location to the Caloosahatchee River . The house was very clean and equipped with everything you need. The house and boat is a great combination. The booking process and service was very professional. Overall, a very well maintained holiday villa for families very suitable.

Great holiday in a beautiful house!
In combination with the boat simply unbeatable. The photos on the internet promise do not too much. The house is lovingly furnished and many rooms are obviously just renovated. It can be seen that the owners put a lot of emphasis on the care and cleanliness. We have felt from day one very comfortable and would loved to have more days here. Convincing was also the professional booking process and almost cordial care if we had any questions on the spot or in advance. The location to the River is realy short and can not compared be with our last trip. If the owners use the house as in the Villa Bluewater for your own vacation, is this a mark of quality for us.

A fantastic place to stay and relaxing
We are already the second time in the Villa Bluewater and certainly not for the last time. We were very positivly surprised what the owners have everything purchased since our last stay in the Villa Bluewater, beautifies and have renovated. The bright, cheerful new pooldeck looks great and makes you feel immediately at ease. By boat we made nice trips. As always, the time was too short. Greetings from Austria!

Beautiful house and great location
In 2011 we were the first time in this beautiful house and also in this Vacation we enjoyed the comfort and fantastic location. The new decking around the pool and on the terrace is bright and friendly. We felt very comfortable. Since our last stay was much newly purchased and also renovated. It can seen that the landlords are very keen, that everything is clean and all is fine. The boat was in an very good condition and we were able to take beautiful trips.

Interesting Visit . . .
Upon our arrival at the rental, the home had a pleasant appearance with, what appeared to be a recent renovation in the master bedroom. The rest of the house was a bit ‘put together’ (perhaps accessorized by several noteworthy trips to resale shops).
This property could be much more comfortable with new bed mattresses, bed linens and towels in each of its 3 bedrooms. The beds were uncomfortable and the bed linens in 2 of 3 bedrooms were thread bare and beyond their useful life. The carpeting in the ‘Queen Bed’ guest room needed to be replaced (quite dirty and worn). The decorations & accessories appeared to be repurposed odds & ends. The bedroom and living room furniture appeared to be recently purchased and appeared to be inexpensive rental quality.
During the first night of our stay. We heard noises in the attic above the master bedroom. This turned out to be a rodent(s) in the attic. In addition to the thought that one wondered whether they would scratch their way through the ceiling - their intermittent clawing in the attic was disruptive to our evenings early during our stay. Eventually after days of requests the local property manager showed up to address the problem. Unfortunately, due to his inappropriate actions taken (ie. putting bait in the attic - versus placing the bait outdoors to draw the critter(s) out of the house) the pest(s) died in the attic and created noxious odors during the next week and a half of our stay.
During our stay we had guests visiting after our initial week on the property. Unfortunately the room deodorizers we installed were only semi-effective which created an embarrassing situation.
Conclusion: A ’difficult to work with’ Property Manager made our stay very uncomfortable and contentious.
On a scale of 1 – 5 we offer the following assessment . . . (1 - low / 5-high)
