Skiers can use two ski centres roughly 1,5 km from the Yellow Cottage during winter. The first one is more suitable for children but the other one with its 5 900 m of pistes will inspire even experienced skiers. Cross-country skiers can set off on well-maintained trails along the mountain ridges. During the spring, summer and autumn seasons the peaceful environment, picturesque countryside and fresh mountain air is the ideal place for hiking or bicycling. The nearby border crossing to Poland means that you can view the unfamiliar but beautiful panorama of the eastern Giant mountains and Sne¸ka from the north. Unlike with the “hustle and bustle” of the western and central Giant mountains here you can enjoy the unique feeling of freedom and space. Near the Yellow Cottage you can find tennis courts and a rehabilitation centre. |
