Ahangama is a small town with a couple of supermarkets, fish and veg market, a quite a few shops for local produce. Just outside the town are a few restaurants, hotels where you can get a meal/drink etc
There is a bus and rail station in Ahangama. Buses are frequent to Galle, Weligama, Marissa, Matara etc, trains not as frequent. Plus many tuk tuks are available. |
