Herceg Novi is a tourist place, more than 600 yrs old town, on the very entrance to Boka Kotorska Bay. Several old towers, old city with the clock, plenty of greenery and flowers make it very enjoyable. Along the coast, there is a 5 km long promenade, with cafes, restaurants and shops along. The boats tours also provide a transfer to other beaches and famous tourist attractions around the Bay. The Old Town has three major galleries, two Catholic and one Orthodox churches as well as many nice coffee and tea bars. There is public swimming pool that hosts all the major water sport events.
