Description of objectIn a small hamlet this charming Maison bourgeoise will be the ideal holiday retreat for family with children or friends appreciating the more laid-back holiday experience.Situated between two small historical towns within short distance, this place is also ideal to explore the atlantic coast, the Bordeaux wine region, Perigord-Valley or the Chateaux de la Loire. With only 1h away from La Rochelle and the sea the house offers a large private pool with gentle roman steps, secured access, a built-in barbecue for al-fresco dining and sunlounges on its generous paved area. shade is provided by trees in the adjoining upper garden and you can watch the swallows hover the pool at dusk. The house contains many original features lige beams, flagstones and in its style is a typical Poitevin house. Lovely open plan kitchen, very well equipped, with dining area, - small entrance hall - a comfortable TV/lounge sitting 8 - a downstairs showerromm /WC and washing machine are the downstairs living areas. From the entrance hall a wooden staircase leads up to 3 well sized bedrooms (one triple, one smaller double and a family room for 4) off the landing there is also a family bathroom with a big corner bath and a separate WC.The interieur is a mix of rustic and modern - kept in a practical and simple, yet comfortable way.
