Description of objectTake a chance, book your dream villa in Curacao and enjoy your exclusive vacation in a beautiful home with a private swimming pool. Villa Carpe Diem has five bedrooms and is located in one of the most popular and most exclusive neighborhoods of the island, Vista Royal and Jan Thiel, within a short walk from the beach. Despite the central location of the villa and the countless places of interest you can celebrate your vacation in complete tranquility, thanks to the fact the villa lays on a hill and is surrounded by a large garden. Your privacy and that of your company is guaranteed!
The villa is very spacious, with high ceilings. This in combination with shutters instead of glass windows makes sure the temperature in the villa is always at comfortable level. The surface of the villa in its totality is approximately 450 m². The villa is built in county-house style and is divided in various levels. There is a bedroom and a bathroom annexed on the ground floor in the right wing of the house. In the left wing, on the ground floor, there is an apartment annexed to the villa, with its own living room, roofed terrace (porch), bathroom, kitchen and two bedrooms. The living room, kitchen, front and back porches and a lounge room of the villa are located on the first floor, at the same level as the backyard. Finally, two master bedrooms, two bathrooms and a balcony are located on the second floor of the left wing (above the apartment).
Because the attached apartment, when so desired, can separately be locked, the villa is ideal for two groups of people going on vacation together. The apartment is always rented together with the villa as one unit. This way your privacy is assured. There are in total four different roofed terraces, all comfortably furnished, always making sure there is peace and rest for everyone.
All five bedrooms are furnished with box spring beds, and equipped with air-conditioning units and ceiling fans. Two bedrooms furnished with double beds and three bedrooms furnished with single beds, which easily could be attached together. Moreover, all bedroom and bathroom windows are fitted with insect screens. The bedrooms, living rooms and terraces are stylishly furnished with beautiful teak wooden furniture. Also, we are proud to mention that our villa is equipped with solar panels, covering almost all energy usage.
The lounge room has a large flat screen television with a satellite reception (with many international channels and a BVN channel, where you can watch among other, Dutch news). In addition there is a free wireless broadband internet connection and a bureau desk, where you can work undisturbed. The lounge room too has air-conditioning and a ceiling fan.
It’s important to mention that the villa is very child-friendly. The villa has is a complete baby/ child gear (playpen, cribs, dresser, toys, bouncing chairs, high chair etc.) We have especially built a 40 cm deep baby pool next to the regular swimming pool, and placed a wonderful wooden play house with a slide at the backyard. Because the garden is completely gated you will not have to worry about the kids slipping away from the villa’s premises unseen.
The tropical garden, it must be said, is maybe the most impressive of all things the villa offers and shows off lavish tropical beauty: palms, plants, flowers and birds are astounding. The swimming pool is located in the front yard and consist of a large regular swimming pool and a round baby pool that overflow one into another. You can perfectly overlook the swimming pool deck from the shaded front porch. Around the swimming pool patio there are eight comfortable sun loungers and two large parasols. Don’t miss the night swim - the pool is beautifully illuminated and the view from the porch is unforgettable!
Location of objectThe villa itself and the neighborhoods Vista Royal and Jan Thiel are well watched over by a security agency Jan Thiel Security, which regularly patrols the area, so you can be assured of safe and pleasant vacation. In immediate surroundings of the villa you can find various restaurants (De Kleine Wereld, Zanzibar, Jan Thiel beach, etc.) where you can enjoy a tasty lunch or dinner. Luckily the Villa Carpe Diem is located in the area away from the party noise. There is a yacht harbor within a walking distance, and in direct vicinity there are different water sport equipment rentals. Among others there are water jet ski, surfing boards and small boats for rent. Here you can also book your day trip to a tiny and picturesque island Klein Curacao.
