Description of object
A large waterfront house situated on a beautiful island in the Stockholm archipelago. The house is made entirely out of island wood and designed by the Swedish architect who owns part of the island.
This is a true summer paradise where you can combine a relaxing and simple island life with visits to the Swedish capital and trips to the nearby island of Ingmarsö, which has a food store and a popular restaurant.
The house (approx. 200 sqm) is made up of two floors with 3 double bedrooms, large communal areas, big fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and shower. There is permanent internet connection (wifi) and linen, towels and firewood are provided.
Enjoy BBQs on the waterfront patio which offers fantastic views of the sea and neighbouring islands.
The house includes a canoe, a, rowing boat, life jackets and fishing nets. There\'s plenty of fish just off the island!
There are blueberries and mushrooms growing in the wild and varied vegetation on the island that are free for anyone to pick. Pets are welcome!

There are direct flights to Stockholm Arlanda Airport from all major cities in Europe. Transfer to central Stockholm is a 15 minute train ride with Arlanda Express. A beautiful15 minute walk (or 5min taxi ride) along the quays will take you to Stockholm\'s most fashionable street Strandvägen and the archipelago ferries. A scenic 2h journey through the unique island landscape with spectacular villas scatted all along the way follows (this is an absolute must for anyone visiting Stockholm and Sweden). You disembark on the island of Ingmarsö where we pick you up and boat you to your destination Big Fox Island (Stora Rävsön) 10 minutes away.
