Description of objectOur house is highly located in a charming residential area about 200 meters from the waterfront only 10 minutes walk from the city centre. It was built 1933 by the former dairy plant owner in Strängnäs and is culturally preserved since the architecture is classed \"Art Deco\". The rooms are spacious with high ceiling. During the 3 years we have lived here we have spent much time carefully renovating our house. Most at the bottom floor is newly renovated and contains a big kitchen combined with dining room, bathroom, sauna, living room and office. The top floor contains 3 bedrooms (one newly renovated). From the top floor you have a view over parts of the Lake Mälaren. Nice summer days we spend lots of time in the big garden with its oaktrees, squirells, flowers and berries/fruits. Children can play with a swing, trampoline, sandbox, bikes and other toys from the garage.
Location of objectSträngnäs is 1 hour drive from the capital of Stockholm. The train also takes you there in about 50 minutes. 3 hours drive south of Strängnäs you find Vimmerby and the theme park \"Astrid Lindgrens Värld\" that is popular among children. www.astridlindgrensvarld.se

Both Strängnäs and the surrounding areas offer great cultural activities as well. Strängnäs is wellknown for its old cathedral(built 1250)and windmill (1855).
This is paradise for family\'s since it gives you enough space and minimum of stress and traffic. In the winter you go skating or skiing on the lake. A day trip to Stockholm with train is comfortable and takes you right into the city centre without any hassle.
