Description of objectOur comfortable cottage is perfect for skiing at La Mongie, summer holidays, walking and the Tour de France. With three double bedrooms and two bathrooms the house can accommodate 6-7 people. One of the bedrooms has a balcony with views of Pic de Midi. There is a wood burning stove for cosy winter evenings, a large garden for summer eating alfresco.
Location of objectOn the edge of a traditional french village with views of the Pic-de-Midi. The house is 15 minutes walk from the small spa town of Bagnères de Bigorre, with its cafe squares and saturday market.
Town: France, The Pyrenees, GerdeGerde nestles in the foothills of the Pyrenees on the east bank of the sparkling River Adour which carries the melt water from the mountains to the south through the fertile Campan valley. Our house and orchard garden provide wonderful views of the near mountains of the Parc National des Pyrenees dominated by the Pic du Midi (2,877m). The village is situated on the outskirts of an elegant spa town, Bagnères-de-Bigorre. The town has restaurants, a market selling local produce, an amazing swimming pool, art galleries, a cinema, and of course the spa for which the town is famous.
