Location of objectOur sumptuous penthouse apartment in the heart of Orte, a town of nearly 4,000 inhabitants. Everything is pure medieval with beautiful villas and palaces. Throughout the city, located on a cliff is the most beautiful views of green countryside, with mountains of Abruzzo in the background.
Town: Italy, Lazio, OrteOrte lies in Etruscans area, with only 35 minutes to Rome. Newly restored penthouse apartment with lovely roof terrace overlooking the charming Piazza in front of the Basilica and into the countryside through which the Tiber winds around the mighty tufklippe with steep rock faces, where Orte Towering high above. There are approx. 1 hour to Assisi and two to Florence, and a lot of exciting cities close around: If you drive towards Amelia is only 5 km. to Umbria, where you can visit a wonderful winery with a large selection of excellent wines. The famous wine Est: Est: Est! also available nearby at lake Bolsano. In Viterbo, which was an important city in Roman times, shows a unique medieval quarter. There is also the famous 2000 m2 Swimming Pool: Terme dei Papi, which is open year-round, also for an evening swimming. There are the monastery Abbazia di Farfa, in Caprarola a castle with its fantastic park. There are 50 km. to the cathedral in Orvieto or the tunbs from the etrusci of Cerveteri and Tarquinia. A few km outside Orte you find Terme di Orte: Hot springs with healing water and a swimming pool paradise for both children and adults. Orte has excellent restaurants, a cozy bar on the piazza, and bakery and grocery store a few meters away.
