Description of object1884 built in a traditional Transylvanian Saxon village Cisnadioara (Michelsberg), this farmhouse was restored by the owners lovingly and carefully and is now available for holiday guests.
The Michelsberger Hof is located in a quiet side street on the edge of the traditional village center with stunning views of the castle, extensive orchards, the Cibin and Fagaras Mountains.
The house is entered via a glazed porch, go on from there into the kitchen with dining table and tiled hearth. You will also find a 2-burner stove, fridge with freezer, a sink and various electrical appliances such as kettles, deep fryer and blender. From the kitchen you enter the large living room, equipped with a typical Michelserger blue and white tiled stove and a mix of antiques and wooden furniture and a bed. From the kitchen you step right into the bedroom with 2 single beds and dressers. The bathroom with shower (hot / cold water) and wash basin is located in the basement with separate entrance. The toilet is in the yard (squat toilet).
The house has a mix of antiques and Saxon furniture.
The large, enclosed courtyard is planted with lawn, flower beds, trees and shrubs and will be completed back by a barn. Behind the barn is a very large orchard covers with a rustic table and benches and great views of the village, castle, Zibin and Fagaras Mountains.
Location of objectThe house is located in a quiet side street on the edge of the traditional village center. From Cisnadioara, you have many activities to do: Excursions in the Southern Carpathians (mountains Cindrel) or to nearby Sibiu (Sibiu).

Small village shops and a charming guest house below the castle with superb cuisine care for the physical well-being.
The 8 km from Sibiu (Sibiu) with a historic center offers every conceivable kind of distraction. Just a few steps away from the house, is the Silberbachtal where you can make beautiful walks.
