Just off the main Hotel Road is the well known Blue Flag beach, Fig Tree Bay which gets so many visits over the summer on its name alone but for those who want to see it in its full beauty then avoid the mass bodies over Early July to Late August. Going along in the same direction is Konnos Beach which is a little less than 2 Kilometers from the main Protaras resort. The view from the top of the road is just amazing and when you reach the bottom of the hill to go to the beach nothing is lost as you look over the Mediterranean Sea. The last place of interest in this direction boarders Ayia Napa and Paralimni, being Cape Grecko. There are countless nature walks available as well as controlled sightseeing too. Going back in the other direction towards Paralimni you can find the Protaras Waterpark turning off towards Pernera and if you carry on going straight to Paralimni without turning, you\'ll find the Ocean Aquarium Park just before the Ayia Triada roundabout.
