Description of objectA wonderful, relaxing in a natural and quiet surrounding haven for a couple to escape in a natural and quiet surrounding or for a big group or family.Ten minutes from Plaisance airport, on the sea and by the “Riviere des Creoles” with a magnificent view of the imposing Lion Mountain, Fauverelle Villa was built in the ruins of an old limekiln dating from 18 th century. Situated on Anse Fauverelle,in a peaceful environment north of the town of Mahebourg, this concession dates from the French era. The villa is 320 m² spacious and can easily accommodate 10 people with luxurious comfort. Beautiful pool, garden and lawn down to the water for those who love nature and tranquility while being close to the city and its traditional markets. Five rooms, all overlooking the sea, each with en suite bathroom, two of them circular in the tower with 2 separate entrances. The large terrace invites to Farniente in several cozy sofas; Beautiful Salon with natural stone walls and large american kitchen. Carefully decorated, nice linen, nice quality dishes, not to mention the smallest items which makes it so special….beautiful napkin rings, flower vases, Champagne bowl etc. … all the necessary comfort for a pleasant stay. Raj, the watchman and housekeeper lives on the compound in a separate corner with his wife Monique who is responsible for the house cleaning. Mary will prepare breakfast and lunch and will propose typical Mauritian dishes. Food and beverage are not included. The service of the staff is included. Additional hours are possible with an extra fee. Raj will organize your excursions to the beautiful islands in the turquoise lagoon at a reasonable price and Marie will prepare the picnic and cooler for your drinks. A cocktail in hand, sitting in the clear water of the lagoon. This … is paradise. Try to catch your dinner by fishing during the ride back…. Two canoes are available and you can paddle up the river des creoles or river la chaux and discover Anse Fauverelle Receptions, birthdays, weddings are available on request and with Extra cost. Visit the Naval Museum in Mahebourg and “la point e des régates” which offers a beautiful view of the bay of “Vieux Grand Port” and the islands. A few kilometers from the villa, there is a magnificent private hunting estate where depending on the season, wild deer and wild boar hunting parties can be organized. Tariffs will be communicated on demand. Discover the charm of the town of Mahebourg which was the first capital of the “’ile de France » A little further south, Pointe d’Esny and the beautiful sandy beach of Blue Bay. At 4 km north, the Ferney Valley offers walks in the natural Reserve with beautiful scenery of the original Mauritius flora and 2 Km away, the village of Vieux Grand Port or the ruins of the first Dutch village. + to the villa: 16 KVA generator ensures uninterrupted supply of electricity in case of power failure.
