Description of objectVilla Melina has its own private swimming pool with outdoor jacuzzi, garden/patio area with sunbeds, sun umbrellas, BBQ, shower and dining furniture where you can relax and enjoy the stunning sunset and sea views. It is built next to nature, surrounded by olive groves and located only about 7min walk from Athani village and about 5 mins drive from 3 of the best beaches of Lefkada such as Porto Katsiki, Egremni, Gialos.It has 2 bedrooms, one with double bed and the other one with two single beds. A folding bed can be added to the second bedroom so as to accommodate up to 5 guests. The villas have one full bathroom with hydromassage shower and an extra WC. The villa is fully equipped with a/c, satellite TV, CD and DVD player & CD and DVD library, fridge/freezer, 4-hob kitchen, oven, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, iron & iron board. We also have villa Eleni which is of the same characteristics as villa Melina, with private swimming pool and wonderful seaviews. They are completely independent from each other as they are built at different ground levels. Location of objectBreathtaking and world-famous beaches, sandy, long, with turquoise waters are closeby (Egremni within 2 kms, Gialos within 5 kms, Porto Katsiki within 8 kms). Porto Katsiki beach (8 kms) has been voted as one of the best beaches in the Mediterranean.Athani village is a short walk from the villas (just 800meters). Greco Levante restaurant is within 5 mins walk, just before you get to the village of Athani. It is onwed and operated by the villa owners. Its specialities are made by fresh, own produce as the family has an animal farm and a vegetables garden (both can be visited if you would like so). With surroundings around the villas full of greenery, fields, olive groves, mountains, wonderful sea views, our villas offer a private escape to an uncommercialized and unspoiled region of the island. Endless choices exist for communication with nature & countryside exploration as well as familiarization with local culture & history. The villa faces west, so your everyday alternative will be to lie at the sunbeds by the pool and enjoy the magnificent sunsets while sipping your favourite drink. All kinds of amenities such as bars, restaurants, ATM, medical center, super market, all kinda of watersports (scuba diving, snorkelling, private boat hire, windsurfing etc.) can be found at Vasiliki (15Kms), also known as a windsurfer\\\'s paradise. Minimarkets, butcher\\\'s and bakery can be found much closer (8kms). Excursions to smaller islands around Lefkada such as Onassis\\\'s Scorpios, to Kefallonia & Ithaca are also possible. A visit to the southest part of the island, the so called Doukato cape, is a must-visit. The legend says that the poet Sapfo fell from the steep cliffs as she was disappointed from her love.
