Description of objectModern, air-conditioned villa with its own private swimming pool in the quiet village of Laroque des Alberes, only 10km from beautiful sandy Mediterranean beaches. The villa has a spacious living/dining room with comfortable sofas and arm-chairs, TV (English and French channels), DVD player, a well-equipped kitchen (hob, oven, microwave dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, liquidiser etc). The dining area has dining table, and there is a granite breakfast bar with additional seating between the kitchen and dining area. There are three spacious bedrooms, sleeping six in total. One double with a large double bed and a spacious en-suite shower room (shower, basin, bidet and WC) is on the ground floor. A second double bedroom is on the first floor and also has a large double bed, and patio doors to a jasmine-covered balcony, with views of the Alberes Hills and Pyrenees and across the plain of Roussillon. There is also a twin bedded room on the first floor, with views across the plain of Roussillon to the sea. These two bedrooms share the first floor family bathroom (bath with shower over, basin, bidet and WC). From the sitting room patio doors lead out onto the sunny and shady terraces, the garden and the pool. The garden is fully enclosed and private, and contains Mediterranean plants, fruit trees, grape vine and palm tree. The house is ideal for couples or families. For young children we can also provide, on request, travel cot, high chair and stairgates as well as some other equipment.
Location of objectOur villa is located on the edge of the modern part of the village, in a very quiet area. It is a short walk through pretty gardens to the old part of the town centre where the restaurants are located. A short 10km drive, and you are at the beach.
Town: France, Alberes, Laroque des AlberesLaroque des Alberes is a very pretty, typically Catalan village. There are a selection of restaurants and cafes, and local shops - 2 bakeries for your morning bread, tabac (newsagent), butchers, post-office, pizza-takeaway, small supermarket, flower shop, hairdresser, shoe shop etc. The town has an interesting old church, mediaeval tower, and narrow winding streets in the old town.
