Description of objectl Oustaou is a very beautiful house for nine persons with private swimming pool in the center of one of the most beautiful villages of the Var: Cotignac.The positioning of the house allows you to be on the Cours within 2 minutes, where you will find the lively social life of Cotignac. The view from bedrooms and from terrace and balcony is unique. The terrain is fully fenced and you have complete privacy around the swimming pool. l Oustaou (the Provencal Word for House) is a very beautiful house with private swimming pool (7 x 4 meters) in the center of one of the most beautiful villages of the Var: Cotignac. The positioning of the house allows you to be on the Cours within 2 minutes, where you will find the lively social life of Cotignac. The view from bedrooms and from terrace and balcony is unique. The terrain is fully fenced and you have complete privacy around the swimming pool. Both kitchen and living room have doors to the balcony-terrace from where you have a magnificent view over the village and the hills in the area of Cotignac. The balcony-terrace has a fence around, so safe with the swimming pool if you are with little children. The beautiful church tower is dominating in the view, really a picture as on a postcard! To the right of the balcony is the stairway down to the pool (7 x 4 mtr, salt water installation, kind to your skin) with her partly covered terraces. Although you are in the middle of Cotignac, you may find here the necessary cooling in the shade of a parasol on one of the seats or sun beds and enjoy the tranquility. On the pool level in the Cave, a second fridge and a freezer are available. You can reach the front door with your car to load and unload luggage, but in the narrow streets of Cotignac there is no opportunity to park. There are fabulous picnic areas along the banks of the river Argens, and also a trip in a canoe on the river is a must.At several locations you will find canoe-rental companies. There are over 10 golf courses in the area, tennis courts and horse riding is also possible. The natural beauty of the Gorges du Verdon is approximately 45 minutes away. There you will find ideal circumstances for mountain climbing, mountain biking, canoeing, pedal boating, etc. The Mediterranean beach and sea can be reached in about 45 minutes. Town: France, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, CotignacOn the road from Cotignac to Brignoles a small but well stocked SPAR supermarket recently opened. In Cotignac you will find three bakeries, a butcher, a fishmonger, a small grocery, a bank and a post office and many attractive terraces of bars and restaurants. Cotignac is the typical Provencal village, where you can dream away with a pastis or a cup of coffee under the ancient plane trees on the main square. There are many Provencal bistros and restaurants in the vicinity.At the central square you will find the popular restaurant La Table de la Fontaine, modernized in 2013 and now known as Chez Loli. A lovely place to have lunch or dinner with a good quality/price ratio: the escargots served in small pots are famous. Opposite to Chez Loli, on the same square, La Table des Coquelicots is located, where life is good also. Just outside Cotignac on the D22 towards Montfort sur Argens, the Clos des Vignes restaurant is worth visiting. It is beautifully situated in the vineyards and has an original card. Around Cotignac there are countless wine chateaux and also the famous Provencal markets. Not to be missed is the cosy Tuesday morning market in Cotignac. Another market on Tuesday morning, but considerably larger, can be visited in Lorgues, 20 km away. The villages of Sillans la Cascade, Salernes, Flayosc, Tourtour and Aups are all located within a radius of 20 km and certainly worth a visit. The beaches of Fréjus and St Tropez are situated 35 km away. The cities of Aix-en-Provence, Nice, Cannes, Toulon / Hyeres are all approximately an one hour drive by car away.
