Description of objectWe just finished renovating our family antique residence which combines authentic Viennese furniture of Maria Theresa’s palace and Ottoman precious masterpieces.It is an excellent example of Baroque architecture with precious carpets, silverware, bronze, sumptuous furnishings, silver and many other impressive items. The valuable items along with exceptional fabrics-curtains, hand-embroidered blankets pillows and tablecloths, porcelain crockery and silver cutlery combine elegance and classic. Along with the collection of imperial furniture of various styles we see woodwork objects that imitate porcelain, artistic masterpieces like the Ottoman brazier Ottoman bronze brazier http://www.turkishculture.org/applied-arts/metal-artwork/braziers-142.htm with brass handles and decorated handle in shape of a bird. Bell mouthed perforated cover, mobile trivet and round base belonging to the first half of the 19th century. Same object exists at the moment in the museum of Nikos Kazantzakis. There are also copper utensils, textiles and embroideries, mortar brass, bronze vases, bronze ornaments, brass lamps, candle-holders, brass ashtrays. The residence is on the third floor with 170m2 covered space, 40 m2 sun terrace and a big balcony. Consists of: a living room of 34m2, hall of 13.2m2, a dining room of 14m2, a kitchen of 12m2, a bedroom with a double bed of 22m2, a bedroom with two single beds of 16m2, a bathroom, a toilet, a veranda of 40m2, a balcony 11.5m2 long.
