Description of objectHave you ever thought of a perfect place on earth, where nature is harsh and playful at the same time, romantic yet adventures, secluded but a few miles distant from ‘civilization’, a place with the perfect view, perfect atmosphere, perfect service, a place where leisure is an imperative? Such a place is to be found on the island Korcula in Croatia, in Villa Zaglav.
The whole facility has 16,600m² of land with Mediterranean vegetation and the villa itself spreads over 1229m² of living area with the 100m² swimming pool. The property is designed as a combination of Mediterranean and colonial, having a lot of surfaces in glass, combining dark wood floors with colorful ceramics and stylish furniture. Whole property is placed on a hillside and it stretches from the peak of the hill on one side, to the pebble beach in the front side.
Luxury Villa Zaglav is a perfect accommodation for 8-10 persons within the inside area of cca 580m². It is constructed as a 4 bedroom mansion, each with its ensuite bathroom. Three of four rooms have a sea view and whirlpool hot tub. Rooms are spacious (45-30m²), decorated minimalistic, each with walk in wardrobe.
Ground floor is area with one bedroom, bathroom and living room. This room has a direct exit to swimming pool area. Here are also kitchen and laundry quarters.
On the first floor are other three bedrooms, spacious living room with dinning area. Here you can also find, separated with an additional entrance, staff quarters.
The outside area of Villa Zaglav is wonderfully decorated Mediterranean garden that enriches the 100m² heated swimming pool and accompanying terraces of cca 550m². Adding garden furniture, sunbeds and parasols we created a perfect leisure oasis. Probably the best place within Villa Zaglav is the upper first floor terrace that overlooks the swimming pool and bay of Karbuni. Here you will find dinning area, suitable for 10 persons, from where you can have a pleasure of dinning under the stars.
Villa is completely equipped with air-condition system and floor heating system, Internet access, TV/SAT, DVD in all rooms. You can also moor a 37m boat in front of the Villa.
One thing that highlights Villa Zaglav from the similar accommodation is carefully chosen staff. One thing you conclude very fast after working with people is that the perfect service will in most of the cases bring the guest back. So Villa Zaglav each year employs a chef, hostess and gardener. The staff is there to make stay at Villa Zaglav careless and as comfortable as possible. The chef also takes a special care about fresh groceries, fresh fish, meat, vegetables grown on the island, which combined with his creativity results with your own, personal, five star a la carte restaurant! No need to say anything more, a wonderful vacation is just a decision away!
Location of objectThe location of Villa Zaglav and the property itself is an amazing combination of wonderful nature, exclusive accommodation, luxury amenities, peace and quiet.The area of Karbuni, where the Villa is situated, was a proclaimed a park of nature, creating together with nearby islands and islets a huge protected natural area. This whole area is some few kilometers away from towns of Blato and Vela Luka and around 40 km from town Korčula.
Town: Croatia, Island Korcula, BlatoKarbuni Cove is located 8 km away from Blato and it can be reached using the asphalt road, which meanders through the vineyards and olive groves. The cove is protected from the wind, which is why it is suitable for the moorage of smaller boats. Visitors will be able to find accommodation in apartments located at the very sea front.
There is also a restaurant in the cove. Opposite Karbuni there is a cluster of several islets only a few hundred meters away from the shore and are best explored using a kayak or a boat.
