Description of objectA traditional lime stone farmhouse with all modern facilities. Situation in a large garden with a pool/security cover, and a play area for the whole family including badmington, trampoline, ping pong etc. Garden overlooking the vineyards of Cognac and just a cycle away from the river Charente. Although in a rural location we are very close to the cosmopolitan towns of Cognac and Saintes.
Location of objectOur holiday rental was built in 1890 of limestone and it is surrounded by garden with views overlooking the Cognac vineyards. We are very centrally located to many towns and villages for shopping, eating, and sightseeing. We are just 30 mins drive from the beaches in Royan and just a couple of mins by car from the beautiful river Charente for canoeing or fishing. There are plenty of golf courses on our doorstep and we have a ladies and mens set at the Gite for guests to use.
Town: France, Cherac, cheracOur local small village is small but has everything you need if not interested in going to the big supermarkets. We have a selection of boulangerie/patisseries, butcher, bar, parmacy and tabac. It is just 3 km from the Gite which is a very nice drive, cycle or walk! On route you can even by vegtables and fruit from the local producer and/ or pick up local Cognac, Pineau and wines from the local viticultures.
