Description of object

This old restored masia lies on the foot of the Pyrenees. This property is detached.
From the house you have a great view over the mountaintops of the Pyrenees and the house is surrounded by many hectares of fields and woods. It provides lots of privacy. The house exist from two parts, one part in which the hostess residences, the other part can be rented as a holiday house. There is space for no less than 18 persons.

On the ground floor there is a fully equipped very large kitchen with diner, a room with television and DVD, two double rooms with their own bathroom. Next to the kitchen there is a large terrace with barbeque.
On the first floor there are 4 extra bedrooms. two of them with 1 double bed and 1 single bed and two with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. There are also two children\\\'s cribs available. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower and toilet.

Especially for families this property is very suitable. Children can play without being disturbed with cars or dangerous roads, there is a trampoline and there are animals on the farm like ponies. Furthermore the house comes with a beautiful large swimming pool, surrounded by trees so that you can enjoy the sunshine as the shade. All trough the house there is WIFI.

The village nearby is a historical village with one of the best kept collection of medieval buildings in Catalonia and people from all over the world come to visit this town because of its beauty and history.
Next to enjoying the quietness and beauty of nature you can visit numerous nice places from this house.
Like the city Girona, a 30 km drive, is worth the effort visiting. In the beautiful old part of this town you will find ancient buildings with roman architecture and numerous nice shops and its easy to amuse yourself for the day. Also the city Fiqueras, on 22 km distance, attracts many visitors. In the first place because its a typical Catalan town but moreover because of the presence of the Dali museum.

If You also want to be busy during your holiday in a sportive kind of way, then there are many possibilities to undertake activities in the surrounding. For example horse riding, water skiing, surfing, mountain biking and last but not least swimming and walking.

The property is located on 1 km from besalu, in the mountains. The house offers amazing views over the area and pyrenees. On the plot of 17 hectares there are fields were horses live and forests were you can walk or cycle.
A very calm setting but only 10 minutes walking to Besalu centre were you have shops and many nice restaurants

Besalu is a lovely medieval town. The 12th century Roman bridge over to the town is a real landmark. The town sits where the Rivers Fluvia and Capadella meet. If you are looking for a picturesque inland setting for a few days, Besalu is an ideal choice. It would take under an hour to drive from Girona airport, well served by Ryanair flights from all over Europe. There is a lot to do and see in the area, the Garrotxa Volcanic Park, the Dali Museum in Figueres, the coast, and the city of Girona.
