A very tasteful and charming one-bedroom cottage with everything you need to relax and enjoy your holiday. Two outside terraces provide sun or shade, seating / dining areas with stunning views, portable sunbeds, BBQ and romantic lighting. A bright and airy fully fitted kitchen has all mod-cons and leads to a lovely living area with DVD and doors out onto your terrace. A bright and cool double bedroom with portable fan and beautiful views. Parking is available directly outside the property, which is approached by a few steps up to the front terrace. You have absolutely stunning views of Ha-gorge, mountains and the sea. The village is quiet and you can really feel like you are getting away from it all. Maid service once a week provides a linen change and all towels, including beach towels are provided. You will receive a folder with tips and trips for you to explore as well as a welcome basket with some essentials to start your holiday right. Car hire or transfers can be organised for you and the owners are local so will be available to ensure your holiday is one to remember.

The cottage is on the outskirts of ancient Vasiliki village – 1hr from Heraklion airport. A wonderful location opposite Ha Gorge and between Ierapetra on the South Coast and Pachia Ammos on the North. Beach, supermarkets, tavernas, bars and bakery are 2.5km away (3min drive) and the very cosmopolitan town of Ierapetra, where you will find everything is only 10km. The popular tourist resort of Agios Nikolaos is 25min drive.
The village is peaceful and has a kafaneon with stunning views and its own Minoan archaeological site. The renowned E4 walking route passes through the village and can take you to either end of the island. You are surrounded by outstanding natural beauty and fauna. You can really feel away from it all without being far from all imaginable amenities. The perfect location to explore either coast – or just sit back and relax.
Vasiliki village is a small and ancient village ideally positioned between the North and South coasts - the North coast, Pachia Ammos is 2.5km and the South coast town of Ierapetra is 10km.
The village has one Kafaneon wich serves the best meze on the island. Vasiliki is surrounded by olive groves and orange trees. The small square in the village has a natural spring fountain and stunning views of Ha Canyon. The village is very peaceful and benefits from an almost constant breeze as it lays in the valley between the coasts.
