Description of object„Palmento Monterosso” is an old country estate near Trecastagni, a small village on the south-eastern slope of the volcano Etna. The 2000 m² garden and the terrace surrounded by vine are the perfect place to relax and enjoy the colour and fragrance of the Sicilian countryside.Monterosso has been expertly renovated to retain its old charm, character and original architectural features. Vaulted ceilings, terracotta floor tiles, wrought iron beds, stone door arches and majolica tiles create a cosy atmosphere. On the ground floor there is the living room with fireplace, dining table and a brick-built kitchen unit. On the mezzanine, which opens up onto the kitchen, there is a living room-study, a double room with balcony, a twin-bedroom with balcony und a shower bath. On the basement there is another double room, a bathroom with tub und a laundry room. Outside there is a terrace. The house is well-equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with freezer, 4-burner-stove, oven, CD/DVD-player and TV (regional stations). In order to access the internet, there is a mobile key device available on request. Outside there is a shower and a barbeque. Because of the central heating the “Palmento Monterosso“ is also suitable for a stay in the colder months. Located in the Etna National Park, it’s a good starting point for hikes.
