Description of objectKatric is a charming Slovenian farmhouse that has been lovingly restored retaining many of its features but incorporating many modern facilities. Located at the heart of the quiet farming village of Kamno halfway between Tolmin and Kobarid it is ideally located for any visitor who wishes to enjoy the Soca valley and all it has to offer.The house has all the facilities you will need to make your stay a pleasant and comfortable experience, comfortably sleeping up to 6 people. Although by special request further arrangements can be made. On the ground floor is a modern kitchen and dining area with open plan space to the living room and digital flat screen TV with exposed wooden beams in both rooms. There is also a DVD player and stereo for your entertainment. A downstairs toilet and boiler room for drying out any wet gear, also use of a washing machine and ironing facilities. On the first floor is a large double bedroom with beautiful country views, antique furniture and exposed beams. A single bedroom also with antique furniture and exposed beams. A large luxury bathroom with large shower, spa bath and toilet. Access off this floor onto a traditional large wooden balcony with flowers and countryside views. Where there it is possible to relax with a book or a lovely glass of Slovenia wine. The third floor consists of another double bed and single bed suite with its own en-suite bathroom and a further seating area with TV and chairs. There is also air-conditioning installed on this floor for your comfort. From here there are far reaching views of the valley down to Tolmin. Throughout the house there are many character features like exposed wooden beams, a stone fireplace, original wooden floorboards and antique furniture creating a rustic and cosy living space. But with a modern kitchen and spacious bathrooms you can enjoy the best of both worlds. The whole house has free WIFI access perfect if you need to keep in touch with home or to check your e-mail if you cannot leave it behind!. For those rare summer wet days we have a cupboard with games and puzzles for you to use. All windows have fly screens so you can enjoy the fresh summer air and not worry about being pestered by the insects. The house is only a 10 minute stroll to the river perfect for fishing, swimming or enjoying a picnic by the riverside. Outside is our lovely secure garden and seating area where you can enjoy dining alfresco anytime of day and with our hand built stone bbq you can cook outside too. There is off road parking for 2 cars if you come in 2 groups. Mountain bikes available on request for exploring the valley from the saddle please contact us for details. Location of objectOur house is on the edge of the village of Kamno on the road to Krn. It is detached with parking for 2 cars. A secure outside garden area with bbq, seating area and large second floor balcony.
