Town: Italy, COSTA VERDE, TORRE DEI CORSARIThe beach, along the magnificent Costa Verde, is made up of ochre-coloured sand, hemmed by tall dunes, lapped by a turquoise-green sea. The beach stretches for around 1.5 kilometres up to the locality of Pistis. The bright golden colour of the sand strongly contrasts with the surrounding landscape, with sprays of green from the thick Mediterranean brush that covers the hills on the three sides of the hinterland (north, east and south).
Its waters are of a changing blue due to the plays of light created by the sun reflected on the seabed. An evocative chromatic display is offered by the mixture of the golden sand, the colour of the rocks, the deep blue of the sea and the carpet of typical vegetation of the Mediterranean brush that covers the hills to its rear.
