Description of objectProto Spiti is a quiet, authentique vacation rental in the middle of olive groves at the edge of the mountain village Shinokapsala with a big garden and a splendid view at the surrounding mountains and sea. Proto Spiti is entirely isolated in complete privacy.The vacation rental has a big open kitchen and is entirely equipped for 4 persons. Kitchen towels, coffee machine, water boiler, electrical cooker with 3 plates, furnace, microwave, refrigerator with freezer. In the living room there is an open fire place, a rotan fair and a radio-cassette-mp3-CD player. In the bedroom there is a double bed in stone with night cupboards. There is also a large closet with plenty of space. Sheets and blankets are available. The bathroom is equipped with bath and shower, double basin, washing machine and toilet. Bath towels and hairdryer are present. Above the kitchen there is a half open room which is aranched as a second bedroom with double bed. Outside there is a half shadowed terrace aimed at the south and a garden on three levels. A splendid sea view, hills with olive-trees and wild plants. Between two hills you can see the island Chrisi. Private parking space in front of the house ( death end street). Location of objectFor your daily shopping you must go to the coast (approximately 10 minutes driving). Along the coast way you find several supermarkets, pubs and restaurants. If you take the road directly to the coast you will arrive in the village Galini. If you go there to the right, there is a splendid sandy beach in Agia Fotia. Also Koutsounari (a little further) has a beautiful beach. In Ierapatra (25km) there are several hypermarkets.If you take the way through the village, then you reach the coast way which leads to Makrigialos and Analipsis, there is more tourism (pubs, restaurants, bank offices, mail office). There is a beautiful sandy beach and the sea expires slowly, it makes swimming for children safe. On the way to Makrigialos lies between the places Mavros Kolimpos and Koutsouras the national park with a lot of different plants and trees. In the village Agios Stefanos you can look at the stars (astronomy)and art-workshops are organised. In Kalo Nero you can \\\'play with glass\\\' in a workshop. Town: Greece, schinokapsala, StavrohoriSchinokapsala is about 2 hours drive from the airport of Heraklion and lies on approx. 450 meters sea altitude.There are about 100 inhabitants, when you are looking for peace and nature it is a fantastic stay. Its a short walk to the village, there is one sociable taverna (cafenion) under the grapevines. There are shops, hypermarkets and restaurants on the road at the coast. From this road there are three asphalt ways to the village, which are respectively 6,7 and 11 km long. On several spots you have a fabulous view on the sea.
