Description of objectLa Blancapierre is set in 8 acres of farm land , 1 mile from the village of St martin des besaces in Calvados France. It offers spacious family accommodation sleeping up to 8 in 4 bed rooms.The house comes with Free wifi internet connection English Satellite TV Games room with pool table and table tennis Small above ground pool with private garden The house is well equipped with everything we think you might need whilst on holiday. Downstairs entrance Hall with separate lounge with plenty of sofas and armchairs . In it we have English Satellite TV, and a DVD player . Then there is a dinning room, with a large table and chairs to seat 8 people. The kitchen is separate again, and was all new in 2011. It has a large 6 burner hob and oven, dishwasher fridge microwave etc. On the first floor you have two large double bed rooms,plus a twin room. with the family bath room, and a separate toilet. Then on the second floor we have another very large twin room. Outside to the side and rear of the house is a private garden, with a covered terrace with wooden table and chairs, with shade available under the apple trees. In the garden we have a small above ground pool which is available from the end of May till September. You have use of a games room which is in the basement of one of our barns. It has a full size pool table plus table tennis and table football. the village of St martin Des Besaces is one mile away, and has a full range of small shops. The market town of Torigni Sur Vire is 10 minutes away, and has supermarkets shops and restaurants You will see from the photos that the house sits near the top of a hill and has commanding views. On a clear day you can 20 miles towards Vire. The hill is called Hill 309, and was the scene of a famous battle on 30th July 1944. there is a monument to the British forces at the top of the hill just behind the house. You are a short drive south of the D day beaches, and each village on route has its own story to tell. We can assure you of a warm welcome to France, during 2014 which is the 701th anniversary of the d day landing. you can ask about any week in 2014, and then we can list it on ebay for you.
