Description of objectPrivate rent villa (surface of 200sq.m) in Pomonte (Elba Island) immersed in the natural reserve of Tuscan Arcipelago National Park. Two floors, 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (electrical boiler hot water 1 bathroom only), kitchen (electrical boiler hot water), large dining-room with fireplace and a stunning view on the open sea. Fully furnished and equipped (washing-machine). An additional water reservoir will garantee water also in summer months. Furnished (dining site and sunbeds) and covered terrace (surface of 25sq.m) at first floor facing the sea, courtyard, cold external shower, garden, parking lots.
Location of objectThe house’s directly on the beach and beautiful crystal sea in Pomonte, west part of Elba Island (Sun Coast), Tuscany, Italy. It’s in the wildest part of Elba Island with rocky baeches and cliffs, near famous sandy beaches such as Fetovaia (4 km) or Cavoli (7,5 km), and nightlife (Marina di Campo, Marciana Marina), too.
The tourist harbours of Marina di Campo (13 km) and Marciana Marina (21 km) offer daily cruises to Pianosa and Corsica islands.
The area offers marvellous naturalistic excursions in Arcipelago Toscano National Park and in sites of great historical interest. Arts and history lovers can find a great choice of Roman, Medieval and Napoleon sites nearby.
The Arcipelago Toscano National Park, embracing an area that expands 600sq.km. between Livorno and the Argentario's promontory, encloses seven islands: Capraia, Elba, Giannutri, Giglio, Gorgona, Montecristo and Pianosa. Elba is the pearl of the Tuscan Archipelago, the island without frontiers: the sea, the beaches, the green of the countryside, the small fortress towns, archaeological treasures, chestnut woods and more.
Traditional Mediterrean cuisine and appetizing fish dishes will be at your hands in many typical restaurant.
Town: Italy, Elba Island, PomontePomonte’s a little village at the foot of Monte Capanne but you can find bus stop to travel around Elba, restaurants, shops, bank, post office, church, pharmacy, emergency unit and medical doctor.
Pomonte’s a very good site for snorkelling and diving in the famous wreck in front of its rocky beach. It’s an excellent windy area even for wind and kite surfing. Moreover it’s a good start point for trekking or mountainbiking on Monte Capanne or along the coast. In Pomonte you can rent canoes and is a good place to go fishing. In the nearby you can rent boats, water ski, play tennis and golf.
