Description of objectfrom 280 Euro per Week sleeps 2. Discounts for 6 Weeks or more.This semi-detached bungalow which was completely refurbished in January 2009 has a southfacing terrace giving all day sunshine. The bungalow has Astra-and Eutelsat SAT-TV. It´s equipped to a high standard with a new dishwasher and a fridge with a 4 **** freezer. The Jardin del Sol complex comprises of 34 bungalows and a large communal pool situated in well maintained tropical gardens. The complex is 3 minutes walk from Play Flamingo Beach. Ideal for shorefishing! In 5 minutes you reach the lovely harbour area where the Ferrys to Fuerteventura go. And here starts the nice Promenade. In 3 minutes you get to the Shoppingcenter Limones with a Spar Supermarket and bars, restaurants and shops. Directly in front of the complex you find a Bus Station and the Hotel 'Iberostar Lanzarote Park', Car-and Bike-Rentals. Bedroom: Bedroom with twin beds, 3 drawer bedside cabinets and reading lamp. Built-in wardrobe containing safe fixed to the floor. There is a dressing table, chair and large mirror. Bathroom: Bathroom with white washbasin and wc. There is a large walk in shower with mosaic tiled floor. There is a cabinet for your toiletries. Kitchen: New white kitchen with ample cupboard space. There is a new dishwasher,two ring hob, microwave oven, fridge with 4 **** freezer, kettle, toaster, Coffeemachine and plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and cooking utensils. There is a butchers block with storage for wine bottles. Utility Room: Utility room with washing machine, granite work surface. Ironing board, clothes airer, steps, brush, mop and bucket. The hot water boiler is in the cupboard. Living Room: Living room with large double sofa, coffee table with drawer containing lots of holiday info. There is a dining table with two cushioned basket chairs. In one corner is a unit with a music centre and opposite this is the TV with Sky box and DVD player. Towels/linen: Towels and bed linen are supplied. Amenities/Facilities: dishwasher hob/stove fridge with 4 **** freezer microwave washing machine iron/ironing board satellite tv barbecue shared pool Notes on accommodation: This accommodation is particularly suitable for a couple wishing to have a relaxing break in the sun as it is fairly private, whilst being close to all the amenities. If you wish, we will put in a baby-travel-bed. There is parking at the gate to the bungalow. Outside The bungalow is in lovely tropical gardens and is 50 metres from the communal pool which is approx. 15 metres by 6 metres and goes from depth 1 metre to 1.5 metre. The southfacing terrace is furnished with a patio table, two chairs, two sun loungers with luxury mattresses, There is a windout canopy and mobile barbecue. Booking notes A deposit of 25% is required to confirm the booking and the balance is due 6 weeks prior to arrival. Changeover day The bungalow must be vacated by 10am on day of departure unless by prior arrangement. Location of objectCoast/BeachThe bungalow is 3 minutes walk from Playa Flamingo beach, 15 minutes walk from the Town beach and around 20 minutes walk from Playa Dorada beach. The famous Papagayo beaches are 10 minutes by car or you can take a boat trip from the harbour on The Princess Yaiza which will drop you for the day at Papagayo Beach. There is a magnificent coastal walk along the front of Play Blanca which stretches for a few miles and includes the Marina Rubicon (25 minutes walk) which has a market on Wed. and Sat. Golf The nearest golf course is in Tias about 20 minutes drive from Playa Blanca. Travel Arrecife airport is 35 kilometres from Playa Blanca. Car hire is very cheap on Lanzarote and we recommend it as the best way to explore the numerous sites, villages and visitor attractions. There is an hourly run Ferry service over to Coralejo at the North of Fuerteventura which is 5 minutes walk from the bungalow. Distances The town of Yaiza is 7 kilometres, Puerto del Carmen 29 kilometres, Teguise with its Sunday Market 30 kilometres, Femes with its magnificent view over Playa Blanca 4 kilometres. All of the major attractions are within a comfortable 45 minute to 1 hour drive. Town: Spain, Playa Blanca, Playa BlancaPlaya Blanca, meaning 'White Beach' is the southernmost town of the Spanish island of Lanzarote. It is the newest resort on the Island. It is part of the municipality of Yaiza.Approximately a forty minute drive (45 km) from the airport, it has a state school, a private school, a notary, the bustling Rubicon Marina, church, harbour with ferries to Fuerteventura and an industrial area on the entrance to the town. A public library was opened in April 2012. In the entrance to the town is the 'Estacion de Guaguas' (Bus station) which also houses a police station, as well as the Ayuntamiento (Town Hall). In early October 2008, Playa Blanca became the first municipality on the Island to have its own dedicated bus service, as opposed to buses simply passing through. Price are ¤1.25 per journey, regardless of distance traveled around the town, and travel in a continuous loop from Faro Park to Las Coloradas. Frequency is every half an hour throughout the day. The coastline around Playa Blanca is essentially one large 9 kilometre wide bay which is then broken up into three smaller, but still large, bays. From East to west these are Playa Dorada, Playa Blanca and Playa Flamingo. This basic geography means that the beaches in and around Playa Blanca are sheltered and ideal for swimming and sunbathing. The Atlantic Ocean is to the east, west and south. Barren lands dominate the outskirts. Access is via one of two routes, either the dual carriageway from Yaiza, or the mountain road of Femes. The residents are an eclectic mix of Canarian, Spanish, German, English and most other European nationalities, as well as people from as far afield as Canada, Ireland and the United States of America.
