Description of objectCreative and charming 100 sm flat in a XVI century small building, in the heart of the historical centre of Palermo, just behind the very well known « Quattro Canti ». It’s a self-catering flat. The entrance is common with another small flat on the upper floor, but it’s independent as it is closed by an entrance door, all the rooms are communicating, no doors inside. It is composed by 1 bedroom with two beds, which can occasionally be separated or rather turn into a double bed, a big living room with a divan bed for two, a bathroom with tub, a small laundry, a spacious and welcoming all equipped kitchen. The flat is very bright with 3 lit balconies. I provide sheets and towels and several household appliances (washing machine, ironing board and iron, steamer, centrifuge, citrus-fruit squeezer, hairdryer, stereo..). A fee-paying small fridge-bar is available.I am a painter and the flat is part of my creative environment, with ethnic accessories, paintings, plants, and it is not a conventional one. Walls are coloured with a natural dye I personally created. I stronlgy tend to an eco friendly environment. It is located on the 3rd floor, there is not elevator and doesn’t have facilities for disabled people. Piazza Pretoria, Chiesa di Santa Caterina, Chiesa di San Cataldo, Chiesa della Martorana, Cathedral and Palazzo dei Normanni, Teatro Massimo, street markets of Vucciria, Ballarò and Capo, Piazza Marina and the sea are within a very short walking distance. 10’ walking to the Railway station and the Port, and to the Teatro Politeama. Rent is possible per day, per week and per month, at extremely reasonable prices. There are two restrictions : the first one is because it is a non smoking flat, the second one is that shoes are not allowed inside the flat, the floor has wooden parquet. Languages spoken Italian, English, Portuguese, Spanish, French and German. Location of objectIt is located on the 3rd floor of a small building dated 1516, on a square, just behind the very well known « Quattro Canti ». You can park the car either in the square or in a fee-paying parking (7h-20h) at 50m from the house. The city also hosts it\'s rich vegetation of palm trees, prickly pears, bananas, lemon trees and so on. The abundance of exotic species was also noticed by the world-famous German writer Goethe who in April 1787 visited the newly opened botanical gardens, describing them as \"the most beautiful place on earth\".
