Description of objectHouse with a stunning panoramic view of the sea, the Maddalena islands and the port of Palau.The house is furnished with love and has a cozy living room, fully equipped kitchenette, two bedrooms (with double beds) and large bathroom with skylight. One bedroom has direct exit to the garden. Other amenities: dishwasher, gas stove, washing machine, sofa bed, extra bed, iron, outdoor shower and garden furniture. The terrace is covered and the garden beautifully created with lemon and orange trees. Ideal for relaxation. Private parking place is available. Locally you have an English speaking support Location of objectThe apartment is located in about 5 minutes drive from the village of Palau. There are about 15 min walk to the harbor with restaurants and so on.Supermarkets are just 300m away and the harbor can be reached by foot. Town: Italy, Costa Smeralda, PalauPalau is a lively small town and port is primarily a beach resort with its own selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Around 3kms to the north of the town is Fortezza di Monte Altura, a 19th century bastion on a rocky slope above the town. From Palau you can also take a boat trip out to nearby islands. The ferry boats leave from the harbour to cross over to the intriguing islands of La Maddalena, a favourite sailing area for yachters and Caprera where the Italian hero Garibaldi spent the last third of his life.Porto Pollo sits 7 km west of Palau and has become something of a Mecca for water sport pilgrims. Considered the best on the island, the local conditions are excellent for windsurfing and you could also try your hand at kite surfing, diving and sailing. Visit the island of La Maddalena, the more engaging town just 15 minutes by boat from Palau. This port town has much more charm and better shops. The buildings have some character and the cafes and atmosphere let you you know you're in Europe. From the port you can catch a blue bus that will take you to some spectacular beaches. There are many fantastic bays and beaches, some well signposted, others hidden down small, winding tracks.
