Description of object50 square-metre trullo built at Ostuni with the typical local white stone, surrounded by a 4200 square-metre ground with lined-up olive trees. 5 sleeping accommodations, bathroom and kitchen at 15 minutes from the beach.Adjoining the park of Masseria Mondadori, in a quiet 95-acre area free from traffic, consisting only of 22 houses and trulli. In the area many houses belong to English owners. The trullo consists of a main living-room with a couch and a SKY decoder and CD/DVD set. In the living-room a niche is available, with a double bed-container, memory-foam mattress and slat bed-base. The adjacent small room, with a fireplace, consists of another niche with another double bed. In the front 100-square-metre ground - with a gazebo and an awning – there is enough room to let children play, to have lunch and dinner outdoor and to use a barbecue. In the neighbourhood of the main country road it\\\\\\\'s possible to have nice walks and pick up blackberries all the summer through. The landscape also includes almond trees and Indian figs. The trullo is located at 2 kilometres from town where you can find supermarkets, newsstands, green groceries, banks, fishmonger\\\\\\\'s shops, and also a public library. At just 8 kilometres (about 15 minutes) you can find the beach called Torre Pozzelle, with fine spots for fishing, or you can rent a boat in the nearby port of Villanova. In the neighbourhood one can visit the natural reservation called Torre Guaceto with its numerous beaches and natural walking grounds. In the nearby village called Cisternino it is possible to dine at butch-and-grill restaurants, where, at a very low price, you can choose straight from the butcher\\\\\\\'s counter the meat you want to be grilled. Good restaurants can be found also at Ceglie Messapica at 8 kilometres from the trullo. Furthermore it is advisable to pay visit at the wine growers\\\\\\\' cooperatives where you can find good local wines at low prices. Town: Italy, Salento, OstuniOstuni is known as \"The White Town\" due to it\'s whitewashed buildings. Ostuni is one of many white towns settled during the 11th century. They were located on top of hills to protect the people from attacks from the sea by pirates. The people moved to these fortified citadels from small towns and were a mix of backgrounds, including Arab, Greek, and Norman. The Arabs contributed white houses and winding streets (like those of Morocco) and the Greeks contributed enclosed courtyards. The courtyards were used to protect women, children and the elderly while men were away at work. The Normans recognized the area had very rich soil which was perfect for agriculture. Ostuni is particularly noted for processing grapes into wine.We wandered through the narrow, cobblestone streets of the old town. Then did a little souvenir shopping in the streets around the town square.
