Description of objectOur holiday home for 8 to 11 persons (+1 baby) is a very spacious apartment: it has 150 m² living area, a large terras (28 m²) and a garden (100 m²) with swimming pool.Via the central hall, you enter the cosy living room. During cold nights, you can light the fire place. The living room is the only piece on the ground floor, the rest of holiday home is on the first floor (second floor if you are American). There is free Wi-Fi, obviously. The stairs bring you to the first floor, where you find three bedrooms, a bathroom with whirlpool / shower, a sink and a toilet. All the beds are new. Once you pass the third bedroom, you enter the spaceous and fully equipped kitchen annex dining room with enough room to eat with 11 persons. Because of the staircase, the house is not really accessible for less mobile persons. Next to the dining room, you will find a second bathroom and a fourth bedroom. Big terras doors let in a lot of light en give access to the big terras (30 m²), where you’ll find a big table and barbecue. The outside staircase brings you to the swimming pool. Pets are not allowed. Radio with aux and usb connections and CD-player. Bathroom 1: whirlpool with rain shower, sink, towel dryer and hair dryer. Toilet 1 Hall: large wardrobes. Bedroom 1: two single beds (90×200), bedside tables, cot, dresser, tv with DVD-player. Bedroom 2: double bed (180×200), single bed (90×190), bedside tables, dresser, tv with DVD-player. Bedroom 3: double bed (180×200), sofabed (140×200), bedside tables, dresser, tv with DVB-antenna (only French broadcasts). Bedroom 4: double bed (160×200), bedside tables, wardrobe. Bathroom 2: sink, shower, toilet and hair dryer. Kitchen / dining room (30m²): kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave oven, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, water boiler, pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, etc. Large table (75x325cm), 12 chairs, highchair, radio. Terrace (28m²): large table, 10 chairs, barbecue. Staircase down to the garden and the swimming pool (diameter 3,70 m) Town: France, Corbières, OrnaisonsOur auberge (inn) is situated in Ornaisons, close to Narbonne (14 km), Carcassonne (40 km) and the Mediterranean: it’s a part of a 19th century inn in a typical southern French wine village.In Ornaisons you will find a bakery annex pizzeria annex grocery (open 7/7), two more groceries, a restaurant in the upmarket and a lot of wine producers that sell their wines on the spot – after you have tasted them of course. At about 150 meters, a local farmer sells his home grown vegetables. Ornaisons has not one, but two boulodromes, one of them across the street. On the Pech hill, you can walk, run or mountainbike. In Lézignan-Corbières and Narbonne, the two major cities in the neighbourhood, you’ll find a lot more leisure options, restaurants and shops. Obviously, Carcassonne (40 km), the Canal du Midi (10 km), Béziers (45 km), the castles of Peyrepertuse and Quéribus (60 km), Minerve, Lagrasse and the abby of Fontfroide (10 km) are absolutely stunning highlights in the region. Kilometres of sandy beaches in Narbonne-Plage and Gruissan-Plage are just waiting for you to lie on them and do nothing at all. Actually, a week is too short to visit the Languedoc-Roussillon.
