The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, dishmachine, freezer and cooker. There is a radio and a TV set in each bedroom (in all bedrooms is avalable 7 german channels). In living room we have satellite. In season full board available. It is possible to hire out some sports equipment. It used to be a separate settlement, but now it is a quarter of Nowe Warpno in policki poviat, zachodniopomorskie province. Podgrodzie was founded as a settlement at the beginning of the 20th century. However probably there used to be a Slavic town in the Middle Ages. Initially it was typical farmers’ settlement but after 1st world war local authorities created a health center for veterans, which was later turned into a sanatorium. Nowadays this small holiday resort is situated in a peninsula at Zalew (‘Bay’) Szczeciński. There are farming yards and fisherman’s cottages dating from German period, a beach as well as The Center of Education, Integration and Rehabilitation “Podgrodzie” in Nowe Warpno. In the peninsula there is an ecological ground “Półwysep Podgrodzie” and 300 m of the peninsula there is a island called Łysa Wyspa (‘Bald Island’), which is also a part of the ecological ground.The island is situated close to Altwarp, Germany. East of Podgrodzie there is a settlement Miroszewo (now also a part of Nowe Warpno) where some holiday cottages are situated.
