Description of objectOur home is comfortable, clean and cozy. It has been featured in a prominent Czech home design magazine for its style and charm. We have three lovely bedrooms on the 2nd floor (each with its own bathroom and picturesque view of the fields). There is also an office space with a library, full of English and Czech literature. The 1st floor has a wonderful space for gathering, either to enjoy the warm wood burning stove or simply to indulge in a glass of Moravian wine. There is a large kitchen equipped with modern appliances, which is adjoined to a sizable dining room which receives beautiful morning sun, where we like to have morning tea or coffee. One of our treasures is the original, functioning wood burning stove that will bring you back in time! Our garden is simply an oasis to enjoy anytime! Depending on the time of year, you may be able to pick cherries or plums from our tree! It's especially romantic to sit by the campfire, over some cheese and wine (or to enjoy a traditional Czech meal of sausages and beer) ;~) If you like nature and peace, our home is for you. One visitor said 'This is the place where Buddha could live :-)'Location of object'Stone Angel' is a meticulously restored 1776 farmhouse located in the heart of Southern Bohemia, a region of lakes, rivers, small villages with churches, castles, hills with fields, meadows and forests. Marked trails facilitate navigation though picturesque natural landscapes, local villages and towns, ideal for nature enthusiasts. You can explore cultural history and architecture in its full beauty ? including medieval castles, baroque churches, cemeteries, and other unique historic landmarks while also experiencing local Czech village life. Recreational activities include swimming, hiking, cycling, fishing, and horseback riding. Moreover, our central location allows you to stay in a pleasant rural setting from which you can take day-trips to Prague (UNESCO site), Karlstejn Castle, Cesky Krumlov (UNESCO site), Tabor, and Karlovy Vary. Local castles of Orlik nad Vltavou and Zvikov are within a 10-mile radius, accessible via ferry, car, bike or by foot.Town: Czech republic, Orlik Castle Region, Kostelec nad VltavouThe village Prilepov belongs to small town Kostelec. Village itself is quaint, quiet and private in hiking or biking distance to sourounding villages in radious 4km. The sunsets in this region are remarkable, as are the stars in the evening.
