All rooms with A/C or fan/heater. Superb central location, amidst all the major sights and wonderful souks(markets). 10 minutes walk from the famous Blue Gate. Relaxed, homely atmosphere. Welcoming and caring English/French speaking staff. 3 light and airy bedrooms, each with own private bathroom, overlooking the central courtyard salon. Our House Manager speaks perfect English and is always willing to answers your questions. Our lovely caring staff will welcome you with traditional Moroccan hospitality. You will be met on arrival and accompanied to Dar Sienna, so don’t worry about trying to find us. DAR SIENNA is close to the Kairouane University and Library (the first university in the whole world) Place Seffarine (Metalworkers Square, my favourite place in the medina, apart from the terraces at Dar Sienna!), The Henna Souk, and Souk Attarine (The Perfume Souk) and The Sidi Moussa Tannery (but not too close!). 5 minute’s walk from the nearest car park and taxis at R’Cif, and 10 minutes from the famous Blue Gate. All the major sights are close by, not to mention a myriad of craft workshops, making babouches (Moroccan slippers), saddles for fantasias, jewellery and weaving carpets and cloth. And of course there are local cafes and fabulous market at R’Cif for fresh fruit and vegetables too.
