Description of objectSerendipity Springs is an eco-friendly self-catering fully-furnished luxury bungalow, newly built in an area of natural outstanding beauty,for 4-6 guests who value their privacy and peace of mind. The whole bungalow is exclusively yours when you book one or both of the twin-double bedrooms, with ensuite bathroom, and separate doors opening onto a verandah. Our own natural spring provides water to the bungalow and solar power energizes the hot water supply. The luxurious space offers all mod cons and home comforts, with gardens and parking spaces, whilst being surrounded by tea plantations and panoramic breath-taking mountain views. The large kitchen, including a breakfast bar, an open plan living room and dining room are an invitation to relax and enjoy with friends or family. A resident caretaker looks after the property and maintains the gardens/land.

Serendipity Springs is situated in Elkaduwa, approximately 26km from Kandy (the Central Highlands Capital) and approximately 2600ft. above sea level. This bungalow will appeal to discerning guests seeking a serene mountain retreat, away from the hustle and bustle of the city/ tourist areas, and for those nature lovers and independent travellers journeying between the cultural triangle and Kandy. The Esala Perahera, SW Asia\\\'s grandest pageant, lights up Kandy in August, while the Temple of the Sacred Tooth draws visitors all year round.
The bungalow is not far from the recumbent folds and peaks of the Knuckles Mountain Range, where banded peacocks, red pierrot and the Ceylon forester adorn the stunted cloud forests. The Central Highlands exist in a perpetual \\\'springtime\\\' bubble, away from the close heat and heavy air of the rest of the Island whilst being an ideal base from which to explore it and return, enjoying temperatures that average 18-26 degrees centigrade by day (dependent on the season) and as low as 10 degrees centigrade by night (warm clothing advised). A soothing cool breeze blows through the bungalow and on occasion even the mist touches you as it moves through the open doors. In the evenings, watch the picturesque sunset behind the mountains, and if up early enough in the mornings, an awesome sunrise will greet you.
Location of objectThe property is approximately 130km From Katunayaka International Airport (Colombo) and approximately 26km from Kandy. When travelling from Colombo, avoid the busy town centre of Kandy, turn left at Peradeniya for a short-cut to Katugastota. From Katugastota via Wattegama, you will arrive at Elkaduwa Junction. Drive straight towards Hunugala and after about 1.5km, you will see Serendipity Springs bungalow on your left, within the Mahatenna Tea Estate. It is about 100m from the main road to the entrance gate of the bungalow.
