Description of object"Sussego" is a new and well insulatad wooden house in the lower corner of the property, with spectacular views over a green valley down to lighthouse and sea. It has two double bedrooms, bathroom with shower/toilet, open living and dining room with sat TV and fullyequiped kitchen.
"Corredoura" is the two storey stone house with the most spectacular view from first floor. Upstairs are the two double bedroooms, downstairs the living/dining room with sat TV, the fully equiped kitchen with oven and microwave and the bathroom with shower and toillet.
Location of objectCasa da Corredoura is one of the last farms before the lighthouse of Cabo da Roca, the most occidental point of mainland Europe. It faces westwords and overlooks the sea and Lighthouse from north to south. Although very close to the village, the property lies very private and your views are not disturbed by any other buildings except the Lighthouse. We have two houses with two double bedrooms each, located in opposite corners of the property to assure total privacy as well. The quiet farm village of Azoia is located in the foothills of historic Serra de Sintra. Its well off the main tourist track but probably the most convenient place to explore the beautiful beaches to both sides of Cabo da Roca, to visit palaces and castles in and around Sintra (World Heritage) or visit touristic Cascais and the city of Lisbon.
Town: Portugal, Lisboa, Colares, AzoiaAzoia has its own beach with the most spectacular cliffs to access by foot but its a very steep climb. Guincho to the south and Adraga and Praia Grande to the north are at ten min. drive.

Additional InformationAzoia is a farming village on the atlantic side of the Sintra hills about 1 km from Cabo da Roca overlooking the lighthouse of Europes most western point. Although very quiet there are several good restaurants, a general store, bakery, butcher and cafes. For supermarkets, larger shops and banks, Cascais and Estoril are 20 min. away. The train along Estoril coast to Lisbon leaves Cascais every 15 minutes.
The beaches north and south of Cabo da Roca are very distinct. Guincho is the longest with sand dunes and perfect for windsurfing. At Praia da Adraga you find impressive high cliffs also protecting from the winds. Praia da Ursa right near the village you might find empty even in the high season due to the steep descent.
Sintra is a reason for itself to visit this region. The world heritage site has numerous palaces, castles, noble houses and gardens to visit. |
