Description of objectGeneral Information: VILLA VEDANA in Italy is a Venetian manor house dating back to the 16th Century, and is situated in a small town (Codognè di Conegliano) in the heart of the countryside of Treviso, north-east of Italy's Veneto regions. Close to the border with Friuli-Venezia Giulia, it is near to the sea, mountains and hills. Great for skiing, golf and cycling; with superb restaurants and close to artistic and cultural centres - this is many holidays in one.
The Villa, with its stylish but simple furniture, brings back antique reminiscences. The rooms, all very spacious and equipped with private bathrooms, are truly romantic.
Their furniture follows the Venetian tradition and the atmosphere they grant is fascinating and extremely cosy.

Town: Italy, Venetian - Venice, Codognè When you explore the Veneto itself, you'll find it a fascinating region. One of Italy's wealthiest areas, it has fascinating cities in Verona, Padua, Vicenza and Treviso and, around Conegliano, one of Italy's main agricultural centres - with vineyards, fruit farms and dairies.
Pay a visit to Conegliano and you will find yourself at the heart of the Prosecco production in the area. Padua, meanwhile, is one of the most ancient cities of northern Italy, dating from its Roman origins in 45BC. Its big student population creates a buzzing, vibrant atmosphere, and it has some important artistic sights, in the shape of the Giotto frescoes and relics of St Antony, its patron saint.
Verona runs Venice a close second as the most picturesque of the towns of the Veneto. With a multitude of Roman sites and streets of pink mediaeval buildings, it's well worth a day at least, yet is far less busy with tourists than Venice.
And then there is Venice itself, with its canals, languid gondola rides, the splendid Basilica San Marco and much more.
