Description of objectOVERVIEWNestked in a citrus grove on the outskirts of nearby bustling market town Campofelice di Roccella (population 5000),on the lower foothills of the Madonie Mountains overlooking the sea, Campo Felice is an excellent holiday villa, great for relaxed family holidays with plenty of space for children to run around and let off steam. The views are lovely, with the sweet smell of lemon and orange blossom and not only citrus fruits for you to enjoy but peaches, apricots, medlars and walnuts. The Madonie Mountains offer great walking and quaint and unspoiled villages to explore. THE PROPERTY Inside: Accommodation over 2 floors with additional basement laundry room/ shower room and storage. On the ground floor is a comfortable furnished living room (with fireplace???), large and well-equipped kitchen, independent guest shower room/ loo and 1 double and 1 twin bedroom, both with ensuite shower rooms and one with direct access to the terrace. Upstairs are 1 twin and 4 double bedrooms (3 ensuite), family shower room,and a comfortable sitting room (sofa bed for any visitors). Two bedrooms have sea views, the other three have views across the cirtus groves to the Madonie Mountains beyond. OUTSIDE This comfortable family house, recently restored, is sited on the outskirts of Campofelice di Roccella, a market twon handy for basic shopping and cafes. It sits in a large garden of citrus trees on the edge of the Madonie Mountains, overlooking the sea. The whole huge Northern bay from Capo Zafferano to Cefalu can be seen from the house. There are two large terraces with both sun and shade for outdoor living and dining, and with fantastic views at sunset. There is an outdoor shower that everyone loves - great for communal rinsing off of the sand from a hard day at the beach, with a table nearby to enjoy your first apertivo. Location of objectSURROUNDING AREANestled at the foothills of the Madonie Mountains, Campo Felice villa is a perfect mix of wonderful countryside and sea. It is an ideal base for exploring, on foot or by car (also by train, Campofelice di Roccella station with trains to Palermo in the West and Messina in the East, is only 5 mins away by car) the mountainour nature reserve and the many beautiful, quaint and unspoiled villages nestling in the mountains. The villa is only 10 km from CEFALU and 45km from PALERMO. The POSITION of the villa is suitable to visit the most important touristic sites in DAILY EXCURSIONS as it is 3km far from the Junction (Buonfornello) of the motorway -(A/19 Palermo - Catania ) & (A/20 Palermo - Messina). There are some good restaurants nearby, and 15 mins drive is Cefalu, with its spectacularly-sited Norman Cathedral, medieval twon centre and sandy beach. Cefalu offers a good selection of restaurants and bars. The motorway gives easy access to Palermo, Monreale and the Roman ruins at Solunto.
