Description of objectWilks House can be your \\\'home away from home\\\'. It is a lovely 4 bedroom/2 bathroom house which has an open plan sitting/dining and kitchen area. There is a second sitting room downstairs perfect for children to play in and an undercover dining/BBQ area attached to the 4th bedroom annex. This looks out onto a large well kept private back garden which is fully fenced. The house is airconditioned with fans in every room.
The Laundry is equipped with a large washing machine and dryer and there is provision to hang clothes outside to dry. A solar hot water system provides ample hot water. The Kitchen is very well equipped and has a large fridge, dishwasher,and microwave. Austar TV and broadband internet are connected and we have a large collection of videos,games and books for your enjoyment. Local telephone calls are free. All linen is provided. Signed lease agreement, security bond and deposit are required.
Location of objectWilks House is located just off Mulgrave Road, in the inner city suburb of Bungalow. Shopping, restaurants and clubs are all within walking distance of the house. Public transport is easy to get to and frequent along Mulgrave Road.
Wilks Street is a quiet no through road with a small park at the end.
Town: Australia, Cairns and tropical north Queensland, CairnsCairns is a vibrant town with so much to offer visitors. From here you can take a trip out to the Great Barrier Reef, explore the Rainforest, visit the Atherton tablelands and sample local cheese and wine, and head south to discover the Boulders at Babinda and Paronella Park at Innisfail. Cairns itself has fantastic birdwatching on the esplanade, walking tours around centenary lakes and the beautiful botanical gardens,and a very good regional art gallery. In fact, enough to keep you busy for whatever length of time you have to stay!
