Description of objectA cozy little house-villa in the old town of Borgarnes.Excellent choice for families or small groups of travellers. Good facilities for 8-10 people. Possible to rent only ground floor where two to three people can stay. The house is all new at inside from april 2011. With good beds and furniture, well equipped kitchen, bright bathroom with shower and a good laundry. Only an hour drive from the capital Reykjavik. With three bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom, house on two floors. A cozy garden with view to the mountain Hafnarfjall. Near are restaurants and museums like Landnamssetur, and workshops. Just a 40 minutes drive to Snorrastofa, Reykholt, the glacier Eiriksjokull and wonders of Borgarfjordur. Excellent location to stay if you are going sightseeing in Snaefellsnes. The glacier,Snaefellsjokull national park, going fishing or hiking in Icelandic mountains. Winter holiday and Aurora Borealis - the Northen Lights from November - Mars each year. The Aurora Borealis are usualy very visible in Borgarfjörður.
Location of objectIt takes one hour to drive from the capital Reykjavik to Borgarnes and one and a half hours to drive from the airport in Keflavik to Borgarnes. Day trips are easy to organize from Borgarnes. Snaefellsnes, Dalir and Borgarfjordur valley are all nearby. It takes three hours to drive from Borgarnes to the town of Akureyri in northern Iceland. In Borgarnes is good privacy in a quiet environment and easy to visit many interesting places nearby
